What a website created with neural networks will look like in 2030.
How websites have changed and developed from 1991 to the present.
We tell you about:
developing complex systems, project development, and design
1991
The First Website in History
Listen
The first site contained information about the principles of the World Wide Web and data on the WWW technology itself. Despite its simple interface, the developers incorporated hyperlinks in the text to showcase the capabilities of web tools.
This website was created by Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist working at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). He is also the inventor of the World Wide Web (WWW) technology, which forms the basis of the modern internet.
On August 6, 1991, a revolutionary event occurred in the history of the internet — the launch of the world's first website.
The first website laid the foundations for how we now interact with information on the internet, shaping the development of the entire web industry for decades to come.
This website became the starting point for the development of the modern internet. It initiated the spread of web technologies worldwide. Today, it is preserved in the CERN archive as a historical artifact and can be visited through a special emulator that allows you to see what the internet looked like at the very beginning.
The website consisted of a simple text page with:
  • A description of the concept of web technologies.
  • Instructions on how to browse web pages.
  • Information on setting up a web server.
  • A link to an HTML guide.
Clients
"Yugra Regional Electric Grid Company" (JSC "YURESK") provides electricity transmission services through networks owned by the Government of Yugra and municipal entities in the region.
Thirty years after the publication of the first website, we have learned not only to promote the advantages of services and products on websites but also to submit, process, and store service requests through personal accounts.
A couple of examples of the features of the personal account after the update and why it's convenient:
  • A unified personal account with a multi-step application submission system.
We accelerated the application submission process; now, data is automatically pulled from the profile.

  • Role-based access.
Everyone works only with the information accessible to them, reducing errors during application processing.

  • Integration of qualified and simple electronic digital signature functionality.
There is no need to print, sign, scan, and re-upload documents—just connect the EDS, and the signed document is sent for approval in 5 minutes.
In 2017, we launched the first personal account for YURESK, and in 2023, we significantly updated it.
Before the personal account was introduced, applications for connection were submitted manually.
Consequences
  • Individuals and legal entities had to either visit the company’s office or send filled forms by mail.
  • Applications were passed from department to department in a decentralized manner, making it difficult to track their status.
  • Collecting overall statistics and reports on completed work was challenging.

  • To implement certain features and meet the restaurant's automation needs, temporary and inconvenient solutions had to be used.
  • Scaling and developing the system in the desired direction for the pizzeria proved difficult.
  • Sales analytics required considerable effort.
Several advantages of having our restaurant automation system with a dedicated development team:
  • Centralized management of the network.
Control over all points from one place: menu, promotions, pricing, access rights. Any modifications occur in real time, even down to the city level.

  • Flexible roles and access levels for the team.
Different screens and functions for cashiers, managers, couriers, and chefs eliminate confusion.

  • Comprehensive analytics by cities and locations.
Built-in reports on sales, average check, margin, and revenue by roles, kitchens, and regions.
In 2016, we launched the MVP of the first information system "Hans IS," and since then, we have been successfully scaling and developing it, adding new features, integrating the restaurant's website and mobile application, and maintaining the entire system to ensure it runs reliably under heavy loads.
Before implementing our information system, we used packaged solutions for restaurant automation, lacking flexibility and adaptability.
"Pizzeria Pizza Hans" is a fast-food restaurant that delivers ready-to-eat food: pizzas, sushi, rolls, desserts, and drinks, with a presence in 10 cities
As the food trade developed, we learned to use web tools for selling and delivering delicious food and beverages, expanding the virtual network of cafes across several cities and centrally servicing them through powerful automated systems.

Prior to developing the system, all documentation was maintained in Excel spreadsheets.
The State Project Documentation and Cost Estimation Expertise Office provides services for expertise in project documentation and cost accuracy for construction projects.
Websites are not the only things that have evolved; messengers have also developed. Chat groups for communication, news feeds, and entire platforms for content creation and broadcasting have emerged. We utilize messengers to further simplify user interaction with organizations, for instance, through chatbots.
  • An intuitive interface for both employees and administrators.
The main page was formatted like familiar spreadsheets for users.
  • Fast creation of reports for all departments.
We implemented visual dashboards and provided report exports in PDF format.
In 2023, we developed an electronic registry that significantly simplified and accelerated the work with applications.
  • All incoming applications are stored in one place.
Applications are automatically forwarded from one department to another for processing, eliminating the possibility of loss.
The developed bot, in conjunction with the registry:
  • Provides a list of active requests;
  • Shows detailed information about each request;
  • Enables subscription to notifications about the status of requests;
  • Notifies users of the status at every stage of the expertise process.
In 2024, we developed a Telegram bot and integrated it into the registry.
Before the bot, employees had to take calls instead of focusing on requests.
Consequences
Management faced several challenges:
  • Each department used different types of spreadsheets;
  • Creating a summary report took a long time;
  • Spreadsheets were stored on different computers.

For many years, old content accumulated on the old website like a snowball, filled with situational solutions and additions, ultimately turning the portal into a real labyrinth, making it very difficult to navigate.
We developed a modern, user-friendly interface where information is accessible with a single click, tag, or by entering a phrase in the search bar.
  • Convenient navigation and tagging system.
  • Implemented filters in the library based on four criteria: person involved, topic, audience, format.
  • More than 1,000 expert materials available on the portal.
  • The platform includes resources and information about palliative care: guides, articles, instructions, and even application templates.
  • Convenient setup and algorithms for material selection based on user interests.
  • We configured a personal account where users can choose what they want to read on the site.
Consequences
  • Users could not find the information they needed and left the portal.
  • The website loaded slowly due to the amount of content.
  • The design was outdated.
The "About Palliative" portal is an educational project of the VERA Charitable Foundation for Hospice Care. Since 2006, the foundation has been working to improve the accessibility of palliative care in Russia. Its mission is to ensure that every terminally ill person in Russia has free access to qualified and compassionate help at the end of life.
We have learned to store and process thousands of articles, videos, and images on the internet. We can use these capabilities to help others and ourselves.

The old campaign website was assembled in a very short time. It was challenging to implement all the functions needed for maintaining smooth operation during peak loads and attracting users. There was no tool to simplify the donation collection for benefactors and provide the foundation with centralized statistics and reports on the campaign's results.
The nationwide "Children Instead of Flowers" campaign (DVC) takes place annually. Participants choose to add a charitable element to their celebration. The primary audience of the campaign includes parents, teachers, and conscious high school students. Participation is a great way to get acquainted with philanthropy.
Through new tools, we can collect donations for charity across the country. A full-fledged personal account, a convenient and attractive website — the path to a user's heart through care and attention to detail.
Consequences:
  • The website became unusable when numerous users accessed it (on the campaign day), which was critical for collecting donations.
  • A cumbersome process for benefactors to collect and send donations to the foundation.
  • Difficult report and statistics gathering process for foundation employees.
  • Increased support during peak loads.
We minimized the loss of donations, providing around-the-clock support for the website and personal account at the end of August and September 1st.
  • New tools for convenient donation transfers.
A personal account, integrations with payment systems, and unified links for donations have simplified the donation process and made it more user-friendly.
We developed a personal account that we integrated into the updated website and the customer's CRM system.
  • 96,019,294R was raised by campaign benefactors in 2024.
We consider this the primary result of our work since the personal account and enhanced support during peak loads facilitated the collection of donations.

The website of the future is not just a tool for presenting products or services; it is an intelligent platform that combines modern technology and the expertise of professionals to create a unique user experience.
However, it’s crucial to remember that neural networks are powerful tools best utilized as assistants in website creation, especially for small projects and quick launches. For large corporate portals and complex projects, it’s advisable to combine AI solutions with professional development.
We anticipate that in the near future, artificial intelligence will penetrate deeper into development processes.
  • Personalization.
Tailoring to the target audience and user behavior.
  • Automation of processes.
